Your Healthy Pelvis: Introduction to Pelvic Floor Strengthening
Two class sessions, 1.5 hours each.
Come learn simple, effective ways to begin to strengthen your pelvic floor. You’ll find out how to locate and use these deep muscles, and learn how to add simple exercises to your day that can help strengthen your pelvic floor and prevent bladder control problems as you age. Mats provided, please bring a towel. Mothers with babies under 6 months are welcome!
Your Healthy Pelvis Refresher
Join us for the second half of the Your Healthy Pelvis Intro class to refresh your Kegels skills! Open to those who have completed the Intro class. Get the class handout in case you’ve misplaced yours, learn some newer exercises, and get back on track to build strength and control. Mats provided.
Classes are taught by Cynthia Calmenson, Feldenkrais Practitioner, Certified Total Control Instructor, and Associate Provider at the Integrative Medical Clinic of Santa Rosa. These classes are co-sponsored by Kaiser Permanente – Santa Rosa.
